Vital Choice Sockeye Salmon Fish Oil Softgels
Vital Choice Sockeye Salmon Fish Oil Softgels are the first fish oil capsules I had - extremely natural, extremely high quality. The only problem is that they sometimes become out of stock because of the fluctuation of natural supply. This is unrefined fish oil, but its purity is certified by the NSF. The fatty acid profile is what I would call complete - there are other omega 3 oils other than EPA/DHA that are left in their salmon oil, and it is a very nice orange color. The softgel is also made of fish gelative (not bovine or pig gelatin).
There is approximately 600 mg of total omega-3 fatty acids, including about 240 mg of omega-3 EPA and 220 mg of omega-3 DHA (460 mg combined EPA + DHA). This naturally fluctuates on the season and year. This also has approximately 340 IU of vitamin D3, and about 2,060 IU of pre-formed vitamin A. Astaxanthin from zooplankton is at .36 mg.
